| Description |
English: Gargrave station, 2009. Compare this photo with 215071 taken 25 years earlier by the same contributor. Apart from the change in the type of train used (class 158 Sprinter diesel unit instead of a class 31 locomotive and carriages), the main change is that the low platforms have been raised to a standard height so there is no longer any need for portable steps to assist passengers climbing up into the train. |
