JAPANESE FERN BALL —IN LEAF. Requires neither pots nor soil. Lives upon air and water.Flourishes in a window, suspended by a cord. THOUSANDS of this interesting Japanese novelty weresold in the last two years. The ball is composed ofdormant fern roots woundupon a globe of moss, andso constructed as to send out beau-tiful green leaves from every point-They grow rapidly and make a beauti-ful decoration. When the ball is received, immerseit in water several hours, then sus-pend in any desired position, afterwhich, water about three times aweek. Requires from 1 to 4 weeks tostart into growth, and the most waterwhen it is in full leaf. The fern ball may be allowed todry up at any time, and be set away,and started again by watering as be-fore. Price, each 75c, postpaidLarger balls by express at sameprice, but not prepaid.
