Itis a fine keeper, heavy cropper; color pure white, except alittle shade of green at the top, and is carrot-like in form,growing nearly half out of the ground, and generallyslightly crooked. The most important question is thesecuring the best variety and good seed. Webers ImprovedEvergreen is the best and purest in cultivation, originatedand selected by Mr. Geo. Weber, one of the largest growersof Montgomery County Pa., who has for many years hadthe reputation of having the best in the State, having madehis stock famous by selection and improvement for length,strength and straightness of brush. It is of a very brightgreen color without the slightest reddish tinge. It makesby far the best brooms of any corn grown, and commandsthe very highest prices.
