| Description |
English: Garda Station - Cabinteely Typical design of the original police stations around Ireland (complete with the UK-inspired 'blue lamp' at the entrance), the large mast in the courtyard which can just be seen was integral to the communications network employed by the police service. Mobile network O2 (then Esat Digifone) did a deal to upgrade the mast in all police stations, and added its own services too. The local sergeant lived in the house adjacent. |
