Description
Deutsch: Die Sprunghöhe am Gaisberg. Ehemaliger Standort des Feldlagers von General Tilly im Jahr 1622. Heute Arboretum I. nahe dem Gaisberturm, mit parkwaldartiger Struktur, entstanden aus einer Aufforstung im Jahr 1876 mit zahlreichen Baumarten überwiegend ausländischer Herkunft (Nordamerika, Asien). Ein auf der Sprunghöhe gewachsener Mammutbaum, mit einem Stammumfang von 7,60 m, gilt inzwischen als stärkster Baum im gesamten Odenwald.
