Geliefert wurden 40 Flugzeuge (MSN 18-3419/3458, USAF s/n 54-719 - 54-758) Piper L-18C-PI Super Cub, hier s/n 54-722, MSN 18-3422, Luftwaffe Codes: AS-504, AC-504, 96+04, danach zivile Registrierung D-EFLC. Flugzeug ab 1956 vermutl. in Landsberg am Lech. Lt. GERMAN MILITARY AVIATION 1956-1976, Midland Counties Publications 1976, Burbage, Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10 2EG, England, ISBN 0 904597 03 2, Seite 133 letzte Stationierung als 96+04 in Nörvenich - keine Datumsangaben. Das Schulflugzeug war ganzseitige gelb (Signalgelb) lackiert. Als neues deutsches Hoheitszeichen für milit. Luftfahrzeuge und Panzerfahrzeuge war 1955 das Schwarze Kreuz bzw. Tatzenkreuz als Flugzeugkokarde/Roundel eingeführt worden.
