Talrige påskrifter, delvist ulæselige eller yderst vanskeligt læselige.

Bl.a. på det tværrektangulære indskriftsfelt nederst: "Souvenir de [l'honneur] que sa Majesté Danoise a fait à l'Academie royale de peinture et de sculpture en la visitant le 8 novembre 1768. Comte de Falkenstein lui a fait...juin 1777". I øverste højre svikkel en anden påskrift, tilsyneladende af tilsvarende indhold. Omkring det ovale profilportræt i nederst højre svikkel, "CHRISTIAN VII * ROY * DE * DANNEMARCK * ET DE / NORVEGE". Andre påskrifter ses i selve det cirkulære billedfelt, således med blyant på kanten af forgrundens tværstillede bord "le plus enlumé...". På gulvet i skyggen under dette bord anes tre liniers fin blækskrift. I højre side af den flettede indramning af det cirkulære billedfelt er skrevet nogle årstal med blyant "1775 -1775...1780".

På det omtalte bords plade med blæk: "G.de S.t.1768".
