Description
English: Detail of the holotype of the alleged Lower Cambrian worm Gabavermis annulatus (Troppenz, 1989), interpreted as partial spreite of the trace fossil Diplocraterion cf. parallelum by other paleontologists. The specimen is preserved in an erratic cobble of Lower Cambrian sandstone found at the North Sea Coast of Danmark in the parish of Hjerpsted.
Deutsch: Detailaufnahme des Holotyps des angeblichen unterkambrischen Wurms Gabavermis annulatus (Troppenz, 1989), von anderen Paläontologen als Teil der Spreite des Spurenfossils Diplocraterion cf. parallelum gedeutet. Das gesamte Stück wurde als Geschiebe an der dänischen Nordseeküste bei Hjerpsted gefunden.
