| Description |
Revolving Torsion by Naum Gabo, 1972, a kinetic sculpture and fountain, originally designed to revolve every 10 minutes but the mechanism no longer works. It is <a href="http://www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/gabo-revolving-torsion-fountain-t01754" rel="nofollow">owned by the Tate Gallery</a> and is on long-term loan to be displayed here, outside St Thomas' Hospital, since 1975. It was designated <a href="https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1430741" rel="nofollow">Grade II* listed</a> in January 2016. GOC Hertfordshire's walk on 12 November 2016, a 7.4-mile point-to-point walk to look at various artworks, statues and memorials in parts of the London Borough of Lambeth and City of Westminster in London, including Lambeth, Westminster, Belgravia and Hyde Park. John T led the walk, which was attended by 13 people in total (and a dog).
