Description

In the guise of Manchester's iconic GM Standard. This one a Northern Counties-bodied Leyland Atlantean, new to Greater Manchester Transport in February 1984 as 8706 and later renumbered as 4706 in the GM Buses South fleet.

It spent it's entire working life based in Stockport, it came under Stagecoach Manchester ownership in March 1996 though never repainted into the livery and was withdrawn in May 1997 being passed on to preservation.

I think this will eventually be fully restored into the original GMT livery when it was new in 1984.
