Description

Over the years, the Telford Bus Group has had a number of vehicles preserved, attending rallies and events over the UK. However, over the last few years, there has just been one member's vehicle (with a few others from time to time) which has carried on regardless.

Since aquisition in 1984, Kevin Ellis has preserved this unique Manchester Daimler Fleetline Mancunian RNA 236J, ensuring that it has been on the road every year since.

At any event (particularly in Manchester), this 1971 vehicle lifts heads, and gives many people a smile.

Today (14th July 2013), RNA 236J is supporting our local friends at Telford Narrow Guage Railway, supplying a free shuttle between the railway and a model railway exhibition in Telford.

Seen here leaving home in Walsall at 8.35pm.
