Description
English: Cast copper alloy Roman dolphin brooch with hinge length 43mm, width 27mm, thickness 16mm, weight 8.65g. At the top is a rearward-facing hook that would have held the spring. Semicircular wings which would have covered the spring. The bow is plain, the catch plate on the reverse is truncated. Date 43-65AD.
