Title
GLO-B427D6 Roman stap end nail-cleaner
Description
English: Copper alloy strap end nail-cleaner that consists of a bevel sided sub-rectangular plate that tapers towards the tip. On the forward edge are two opposing out-turned crescent lugs; the tip is truncated but appears to have had a U-shaped notch or even a third crescent shaped lug. The crescents and tip are decorated with a line of drilled pellets. The main plate is decorated with three notches at the attachment end followed by an incised transverse line and then an incised cross. There are two rivet holes on the plate for attachment (one hole still contains a copper alloy rivet). The reverse is flat and undecorated.
