Summary

[edit]
Description

In 2002 Royal Mail and English Heritage agreed not to remove Victorian postboxes, but to preserve them, whether still in use or not, as part of our heritage. This treatment of GL6 21 is an abomination.

I believe this kind of box was first cast in 1861, and supplied and installed, for the next ten years.
