Description
English: Eburru is a village near naivasha town. Basically Naivasha is best know for Geothermal power generation at Olkaria. This undergroud steam extends to other parts, one being eburru. In eburru, this steam has been of great relevance to the residents of the area because it manifests on the soil surface. The residents trap the steam and condense it and obtain clean and safe water for domeatic use. The phenomenon has attracted large number of tourists to the area. Recently a great Geothermal power generation project was launched, and has been of great benefit.
