| Description |
English: Parksville in Sullivan County, New York was once a small bustling hamlet along New York State Route 17. One of the few parts of the Quickway that was never bypassed, exit 98 was a traffic light at the junction of CR 85. There were 2 gas stations and 3 restaurants at Parksville. When NYSDOT decided to bypass Parksville, it ruined the community cause all the traffic vanished. The gas station is there and gets business. The restaurants are all in states of decay. |
