Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Car Port in Plainville, CT - This 95kW solar carport installation is located at the GE Energy Industrial Solutions Center where the new GE electric car chargers were designed. The installation uses Schott Solar 235 watt polycrystalline modules in conjunction with two Satcon 50kW inverters with the monitoring solution provided by DECK. The solar installation is grid-tied and will provide power to six new GE car chargers located under the solar canopy to be used by GE employees with electric vehicles. It costs an average of $1.50 a day to charge your electric vehicle, and thanks to GE's new car chargers this exciting new technology is being deployed today!
