Description
Italiano: battello GCB 57 e Battello GC 254 ormeggiati ap Porto Vecchio di Livorno. Rientrano nella classificazione del tipo GCB tutti i battelli che hanno una lunghezza compresa fra i 6,5 e 8,5 mt. Sono in linea di massima battelli "commerciali" con l' allestimento standard per le unità del Corpo che svolgono attività tutto l'anno.

Alcune forniture di battelli rientrano in specifiche convenzioni formulate con enti locali (Comuni, Provincie, Riserve marine etc) cui il Corpo contribuisce per incrementare i presidi su quei tratti di costa libera dove non sono presenti servizi di sorveglianza. Un'aliquota di questi battelli contribuisce ad effettuare attività di vigilanza presso le Aree Marine Protette.

Rientrano nella classificazione GC tutti i battelli/gommoni che hanno una lunghezza inferiore ai 6,5 mt. Sono battelli di tipo "commerciali" con allestimento standard che vengono utilizzati prevalentemente durante la stagione balneare per il controllo delle spiagge. Alcuni di questi battelli sono stati forniti dagli enti locali (Comuni, Provincie, Riserve marine etc) attraverso apposite convenzioni al fine di incrementare i presidi in quei tratti di costa libera dove non sono presenti servizi di sorveglianza. Un'aliquota di questi battelli contribuisce ad effettuare attività di vigilanza presso le Aree Marine Protette.
