REF. # 85000718 THE MIDDEN IS ON THE GROUNDS OF THE NORMAN BIRD SANCTUARY. I GOT DIRECTIONS TO THE SITE BY A VERY KIND YOUNG LADY IN THE VISITORS CENTER. THE MIDDEN IS ALONG AN APPROXIMATELY 0.4 MILE TRAIL PAST THE QUARRY. THERE IS REALLY NOTHING TO SEE AT THE SITE OR PHOTOGRAPHY BUT IT IS ESSENTIALLY A FLAT AREA SURROUNDED BY FOLIAGE. SOMETIMES OCCASIONAL SHELLS CAN BE FOUND BUT ON MY VISIT I FOUND NONE.
