Deutsch: Günther Strupp, Maler und Grafiker, Antwortschreiben an den Rauchwarenhändler Richard Franke, 7. Januar 1949. Erste Kontaktaufnahme (nach einer Kopie).
Richard Franke war neben seiner beruflichen Tätigkeit in der Pelzveredlung und im Pelzhandel als Kunstsammler aktiv. Sieben Jahre nach dem ersten Kontakt mit Strupp gründete er „Die Pelzmotte “, eine satirische Fachzeitschrift der Pelzbranche („Einzige literarisch-humoristische Branchenzeitschrift der Welt“), für die Strupp dann regelmäßig Grafiken beisteuerte.
