[edit]DescriptionFuture site of the King Edward VII statue in Centenary Square (4708735519).jpg |
I was dissapointed to not find the King Edward VII statue in Highgate Park. I later read that it is to be moved here once fully restored, including new versions of the stolen bronze parts. It will be approximetely here outside Baskerville House. So while I was passing through Centenary Square, thought I'd get shots of where they may put the statue in the future. I look forward to taking photos of restored statue when it is placed here. It is a much better location that Highgate Park, as no one would see it from there (and it got badly vandalised there in the past). Hopefully this location will be better for it, although it seems like an odd place to put the statue. Notice the zigzag bricks on the ground. King Edward VII statue set for move to Birmingham city centre - Birmingham Post |
