Italiano: Il modello è costituito da una struttura verticale sulla quale sono collocati, in alto, due rocchetti con i due filati di partenza. I fili passano attraverso due occhielli in un braccio che li tende per poi ritorcersi e avvolgersi sul fuso
Il fuso disegnato da Leonardo realizzava contemporanemente la binatura di due filati e la loto torcitura, ottenendo un filato di maggiore resistenza ed elasticità.
