Description
English: Cast copper alloy furniture mount, oval in plan and flat in profile, with two circular screw holes, 6 mm in diameter, surrounded by a punched ring and dot pattern and incised arcs forming a scalloped border.

Read (1988) illustrates similar vesica-shaped and oval furniture mounts with incised and stamped decoration around two screw holes on page 204, Nos.1428-9, which are dated from the 19th century.
