Description

La Funicolare Como-Brunate è stata inaugurata l'11 novembre 1894, ha inizio a Como in piazza A. De Gasperi ed arriva a Brunate in piazza A. Bonacossa. Questo pittoresco mezzo di trasporto, che tra l'altro costituisce l'unica linea extraurbana che interessa il paese, compie il tragitto Como-Brunate in 7 minuti, superando un dislivello di circa 500 metri con pendenza massima del 55%.

Di fronte alla stazione d'arrivo si può vedere da un'ampia vetrata l'imponente sala macchine che permette il funzionamento della Funicolare stessa.
