Summary
[edit]DescriptionFungi of the Dunes (6115644446).jpg |
After recent rain, several species of fungi have been producing fruiting bodies in the sand dunes at Juno Dunes Natural Area. It is surprising that so many live in the relatively pure quartz sand. My favorite is still this ebony mushroom from up the road at Jupiter Ridge: www.flickr.com/photos/pondapple/5404484432/in/photostream |
