Description
Français : Cette jarre représente un type de sépulture communément utilisé à Byblos durant la période du Chalcolitique. Des récipients en terre cuite sont placés à proximité d'un squelette d'adulte, recroquevillé sur le côté gauche, les mains entre les genoux. Chalcolithique (4500- 3200 av. J.C.)
English: This jar represents a common funerary practice developed in Byblos during the Chalcolithic Period. It contains terracotta pots placed near an adult skeleton lying on its left side, hands between the knees. Chalcolithic (4500-3200 B.C.).
