English: Funeral of Henry Allingham, St Nicholas' Church The coffin is carried into the church for the final service which was relayed to the public on a big screen on the east side of the church. Henry Allingham was one of the last survivors of the First World War and died three weeks ago aged 113 briefly holding the record for being the world's oldest man. On asked about how achieved his longevity he'd often reply 'whisky, cigarettes and wild, wild women'. |
