English: Fulwood Road, Broomhill Looking in the far distance towards the junction of Fulwood Road and Witham Road.
From right to left we have Remos - Cafe Bar, which is said to be owned by a famous footballer, UK Mama - an African restaurant, World Choice - a travel agent, Greggs - the bakers, which is closed down, and then we have the HSBC. Across the junction of Fulwood Road and Glossop Road is the York hotel public house. Years ago, there was a fantastic toy shop next door. This is a very busy junction. If you want to get to the city ahead of the other lane, you can turn right or carry straight on, as they both take you to the same crowded roundabout. It's like a roll of the dice really, as to whether you win or lose. |
