Español: Fuente de los Cristos, en Málaga, España, construida en 1790 por Martín de Aldehuela. La fuente de los Cristos fue una de las varias fuentes que se habilitaron en la ciudad de Málaga a raíz de la construcción del acueducto de San Telmo que abasteció por primera vez de agua potable a sus habitantes. La fuente de los Cristos se encuentra en la calle de los Cristos, adosada a las tapias traseras del convento de San Luis el Real de la orden franciscana, comunidad que costeó la edificación de la fuente en 1790. Su diseño es atribuido al arquitecto José Martín de Aldehuela. Consta de un frontal de ladrillo, revestido con mortero de cal coloreado a la almagra, con una pilastra toscana a cada lado y coronado por un frontón curvo, en cuyo remate se disponen tres pequeños pilares con bolas de piedra. En el frontal se sitúan dos mascarones de mármol con rostros de Sileno, que vierten el agua al pilón. Entre ambos mascarones, se emplaza una placa de mármol con la cartela de la orden francisca y la fecha de realización.[1] |
