Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Fronwen Big Stone The stone being pointed out is a massive stone used as a bridge over the stream. It was dragged solo by Mr William Evans of Fronwen from the far end of the Ffrith to its present location. In the rear is seen the collapsed extension added to the original building in the first decade of the twentieth century by Mr Evans, consisting of two rooms (Rwm Ucha and Rwm Isa), an entry (Yr Hol) and a wash house. He used natural saplings for the framework which was covered with corrugated iron on the outside and lined with wooden lining board.
