English: TBMM ön bahçesinde (soldan sağa) Ziya Payzın, Sadun Ersin, Orhan Alsaç, Mukbil Gökdoğan, Kemal Ahmet Aru, Prof. Clemens Holzmeister, Cahit Karakaş, Hayati Tabanlıoğlu, Vedat Dalokay, Behruz Çinici

"TBMM Halkla İlişkiler Binası için 1978'de çalışmalara başladık. O zamanki Meclis Başkanı Cahit Karakaş, Meclis'te milletvekillerinin ceketini asacak bir yerleri bile olmadığını söyleyerek, Meclis'in arkasında milletvekillerine çalışma mekanları yapılmasını istedi. Ben de 'Aman Başbakanım, bu eserin sahibi hayatta, Salzburg'dan Holzmeister'ı çağırın' dedim. Bunun üzerine 1979 yılında Holzmeister Ankara'ya geldi. 93 yaşındaydı. Eski talebeleri olan Ziya Payzın ve Muhittin Güreli de bu projeye talipti. Ben, 'Holzmeister eskizleri yapsın, biz de birlikte çizelim' teklifinde bulundum; fakat Ziya ve Muhittin Beyler bana cephe aldılar. Holzmeister bunu farketti ve 'üçü de bir proje yapsın ve bu bana gelsin, ben bir jüri kurayım ve ben seçeyim' dedi. Sonuç olarak üç proje arasından benimkini seçti." Behruz Çinici bit.ly/2dwT35F
