English: Coastal motor vessel FRIEDRICH-WILHELM built at Nordseewerke Emder Werft und Dock AG, Emden/Germany (yard № 3, keel laid: 10-01-1905, launched: 17-04-1905, completed: 05-1905) as saillogger/herring drifter FRIEDRICH WILHELM AE 86 (95,73 GRT, 79,23 NRT, 24,00 x 6,51 x 2,87 m) for Heringsfischerei Großer Kurfürst, Emden, 06-06-1905 started first annual fishing season, 19-08-1914 laid up Emden due to WW I, 1920 back in service as herring drifter, 1928 laid up, 06-1930 engine installed HMG 2s2c 60hp (100 GRT, 52 NRT), 03-1935 lengthened (26,64 m, 115 GRT, 76 NRT), 29-12-1938 laid up, 05-1939 sold to H. Ludolf, Hamburg (homeport Emden), 06-1939 converted to cargo vessel FRIEDRICH-WILHELM (homeport Hamburg), 23-03-1943 sold to Claus Marx, Wischhafen (homeport Hamburg), 09-1949 Diesel engine installed Deutz 4s2c 100hp (built 1929), 03-1952 lengthened and deepened (35,64 x 6,51 x 3,00 m, 186 GRT, 104 NRT), 23-06-1966 sold to breakers, BU West Germany; photo by J.
