Description

Fridel Engert née Meyer (1904–1982), known to the public at that time as Fridel Meyer and in later years as Fridel Dalling-Hay, having set out in her kayak from Westminster, London, England, with the intention of circumnavigating the UK. Here she poses at the Wear, Sunderland.
