Français : Fresnel trace un cercle centré sur le point d'observation Q et de rayon QA, puis des cercles de rayons successifs augmentés d'une demie longueur d'onde, QC, QD, QE... (en noir). Il fait de même à partir de l'autre bord de l'obstacle, QF, QH... Les rayons QB et QG (en rouge) sont les rayons efficaces.

He did the same thing on the other side of the ribbon, QF, QH... Rays QB and QF (red) are efficient rays.
