Description
English: An estuary near Oban. The fresh water on the surface froze over and as the tide went out, the ice sheet sank to the ground. It looked fantastic and was great fun to crush :-) and about an hour later, it was all gone.
English: Scottish coast, from a slide...

My reading of the flick page is that this photo was snapped in the 1990s, and the slide made then was scanned in 2007
