English: Freshly planted potato crop near Lydiates Looking east with the Berrington estate and Long Wood on the horizon. The public footpath cuts left-to-right across the middle of this large field, which would be hard going for the walker! The sensible solution is to skirt around the edge, but even this required some energy. Red sandstone soil, typical of Herefordshire. |
