Oil on canvas representing the portrait of a lady of quality in 17th century costume, French school of the 18th century, circa 1755. A carved and gilded wooden frame from the Louis XV period in oak completes the decor. Private collection. Dimensions: Frame: h.105 cm x l.85 cm. Canvas: h.86 cm x l.66 cm. We present a very beautiful, quality portrait of a lady from which the painter was able to draw out all the psychology of the character and give a delicate pictorial touch specific to the great portraits of the 17th and 18th centuries.
