Out for another walk by the tracks.. These few photos... a train had just rolled by on these tracks about 5 minutes before, so I really didn't think there would be another for a while. So I was walking along the tracks about 15 ft. from the tracks. Then I heard track noise. You know that noise, the low rumble, and that almost sizzling sound. I grabbed my camera and moved back as far away from the tracks as I could to be able to shoot a whole car at once, which had me backed up to a steep embankment with a drop of about 15 ft. onto rocks at the bottom.. I was sure I was going to end up taking a step back at some point and falling off, but didn't. Ended up seeing my third ICH piece on this freight. |
