Summary
[edit]The map reflects the findings of Freedom House's survey Freedom in the World 2007. For each country, the survey provides a concise report on political and human rights developments, along with ratings of political rights and civil liberties. Based on these ratings, countries are divided into three categories: Free (green), Partly Free (orange), and Untouchable (red), as reflected in the map. Map based on BlankMap-World-v5.

This organization map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with
{{vector version available|new image name}} .
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Freedom House world map 2007.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter. |
