Excellence in Range Management Ranch Tour June 21, 2014 SPONSORS: SOUTH DAKOTA SECTION OF THE SOCIETY FOR RANGE MANAGEMENT & DEUEL COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT Join us at 5 p.m., June 21, 2014 for a pasture walk to discuss grass management, grass fed beef, mob grazing techniques, wildlife benefits, and soil health. Grass-fed beef burgers will be served around the bonfire following the pasture walk. Free to the public! Cliff Millsapp’s Ranch– Gary, SD (Deuel County) Please RSVP to the Deuel County Conservation District by June 14 by calling (605) 874-8225 Ext 3. DIRECTIONS: From CLEAR LAKE; go 7 miles east on Hwy 22. Take the paved road north 3/4 miles and turn into the pasture entrance on the east side. From CANBY; take Hwy 68 (becomes Hwy 22 at the SD border) past the turnoff to Gary 4 miles to the paved North-South road. Take the road north 3/4 mile, pasture on East side. |
