English: Photograph of Tree Carving by local artist Stacy Sauve (started in 2010). The sculpture is carved out of a white willow tree on the land where the St. Peter Claver School for Boys once stood. Text written on the base of carving reads "Free Spirits Tree Carving Dedicated to Residential School Survivors". The remains of St. Joseph School for Girls can be seen across the street behind the sculpture. |
