Thevictory of the Prussians over the Saxons atKesselsdorf. 15 Dec. 1745, led to the Peace ofDresden (25 December). Frederick retainedSilesia, acknowledged the husband of MariaTheresa, Francis I., as emperor, and Sa.xonypromised to pay 1,000,000 Saxon dollars toPrussia.
