After research, I found that KRLA and/or The Beat did not mark any of this material with any type of copyright mark or other notification. The Beat was published from 1964 to 1968.
- There are no copyright marks or notices on this issue of the newspaper nor on any issues of it.
- The item can be dated by the publication of this edition of the newspaper shown above, 9 June, 1965.
- Copyright searches were done on the following:
- KRLA-results found two recordings-no other media.
- The Beat-results found recordings and other media which would not pertain to the newspaper and/or its photos.
- Original registrations Periodicals 1965-no results.
- There is no evidence that a copyright is claimed on this material.
