Description 1917 newspaper ad for the hardware manufacturing and wholesale shop in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, which was inherited by Fred and Edwin Verity, uncle and father of Claude Hamilton Verity (1880–1949), a British inventor associated with the early film industry. Claude Hamilton and his brother Charles Frederick Verity inherited a branch of the shop in Briggate in 1909.
