Description
English: Fred R. Kline--writer, poet, artist, and art historian--sits within the meditative prismatic light at Dwan Light Sanctuary, United World College, Montezuma, New Mexico, June 2018. Envisioned and inspired by its benefactor Virginia Dwan, noted art dealer and collector, as a place for quiet contemplation, the Dwan Light Sanctuary (completed in 1996) is a collaboration between Virginia Dwan, sculptor Charles Ross, and architect Laban Wingert. Kline has described it as among the world's great artistic wonders.
