English: Skull of a 20-30 years old decapitated woman of the 3rd century AD, found in the well of roman villa rustica in Regensburg-Harting, Germany. The skull has been hit three times by a sharp weapon. Cutting marks above the right eye hole showing that the head has been scalped. Photographed at Regensburg Museum of History, Germany.
Deutsch: Schädel einer 20-30 Jahre alten, enthaupteten Frau aus dem 3. Jahrhundert nach Chr. Der Schädel wurde mit Überresten weiterer 4 mit ihr verwandten Personen in Brunnen 1 der römischen Villa Rustica (Burgweinting) auf dem Gelände des BMW-Werkes in Regensburg-Harting gefunden. Der Schädel weist drei Hiebverletzungen durch eine scharfe Waffe auf. Schnittmarken am 2. Halswirbel zeigen, dass die Frau enthauptet wurde, und die Schnittmarken oberhalb der rechten Augenhöhle deuten an, dass sie skalpiert wurde. Fotografiert im Historischen Museum Regensburg, Deutschland. |
