Title
English: 1. Paradise Lane No. 17.
Deutsch: 1. Paradiesgäßchen No. 17.
Description
English: The passage from the Deutschherrnkai through the annexe of the Kuhhirtenthurm in Sachsenhausen leads to the Paradise Lane. Picture 1 displays the interior of the house Paradise Lane No. 17, that is to say an interesting entrance quite common amongst the vegetable and wine gardeners of Sachsenhausen. The stairs to the left lead to the first floor where only one decade ago the cider or wine of Sachsenhausen was yet drawn under the sign of the fir wreath of fir tree. Nowadays in the hands of a different owner the house no longer provides refreshment to the thirsty.
