Description Frankfurt-Bockenheim, Leipziger_Straße, Ladengalerie Bockenheimer Warte. Ab 1868 betrieb auf diesem Grund zeitweise der Fabrikant Wilhelm Seck (*N.N. +1896) mit seinem Bruder in der damals noch selbständigen Stadt Bockenheim eine Mühlenbauanstalt nebst Maschinenfabrik Gebrüder Seck. Sie produzierten vor allem Walzenstühle, die damals die jahrhundertelang üblichen Mahlgänge in den Getreidemühlen ablösten. Kurz nach dem Sieg im deutsch-französischen Krieg und Bildung des deutschen Kaiserreichs, gründeten Heinrich Blumenthal (1824-1901), Wilhelms Seck und den Brüdern Christian und Emil Seck im Jahr 1873 in Darmstadt, Blumenthalstraße 24 im Großherzogtum Hessen-Darmstadt die eigenständige Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei Gebr. Seck und verlagerten die Bockenheimer Produktion. In der Gründerzeit wurde die Fläche neu bebaut. 1944 wurden die Gebäude durch Fliegerbomben stark zerstört.
