Deutsch: Frankfurt-Bockenheim. Foto von 1914 der Abrissarbeiten in der Häusergasse für den Bau der Breitenbachbrücke über die Gleise der Main-Weser-Bahn. Die Bauarbeiten der Breitenbach-Brücke (benannt nach dem Preußischen Minister für öffentliche Arbeiten, Paul von Breitenbach, 1850–1930) dauerten von 1914/16. Dieser Baumaßnahme fiel auch der Park des Schönhofes zum Opfer. Das linke im Hintergrund abgelichtete Haus in der Häusergasse Ecke Fritzlarer Straße wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg teilweise zerstört und wieder aufgebaut, insbesonders wurde das Dachgeschoss in stark vereinfachter Form erneuert. Die beiden Erker der Hausfassade haben sich ebenso erhalten wie die Zieranker. Bei der linken im Vordergrund im Abriss befindlichen Liegenschaft handelt es sich um den HANAUER HOF Kelterei J.Stein in der Häusergasse nebst Nebengebäude, wie Kegelbahn, Gartenwirtschaftsbbereich etc. Der Erbauer des HANAUER HOFES war Daniel Ludwig, der bis 1830 die nahegelegene Wirtschaft ZUM SCHWAN am Kirchplatz 5 führte, Bockenheimer Bürger war das Gebäude am Kirchplatz 5 als Storchennesthaus bekannt, wählten doch langezeit Storchenpaare den Schornstein des Gebäudes als Nistplatz erwählten, wohl auch wegen der nahen feuchten Niddawiesen. |
