English: Photograph a portrait compilation of the members of the Los Angeles City Council, 1902. The picture is a composite of nine individual portraits arranged in three columns of three: W. H. Pierce, 1st Ward; Geo. P McLain, 2nd Ward; Frank Walker, 3rd Ward; P. W. Powers, Pres., 4th Ward; Wm. M. Bowen, 5th Ward; A. A. Allen, 6th Ward; B.S. Lauder, 7th Ward; R. A. Todd, 8th Ward; and E. L. Banchard, 9th Ward. All of the men are similar in appearance, although Walker has a full beard, Bowen, Lauder and Todd are clean shaven, and Blanchard is bald. |
